The EXT 12000-3P Pond Pump features a robust 3-phase motor, making it suitable for large water features requiring efficient, non-submersible operation. Its oil-free, low-speed, fan-cooled motor provides quiet performance and lasting durability. Please note, the EXT 12000-3P Pond Pump does not come with an electrical cord. The motor's junction box allows for flexible 115V or 230V electrical connections on-site to meet specific project needs.
All EXT-3P motors are compatible with an optional variable frequency drive (VFD). This controller adjusts the pump motor's voltage and frequency, offering precise control over water flow. The VFD can be programmed to reduce pump speed during off-peak times for energy savings and increase flow during peak periods, such as evenings or weekends, when a stronger waterfall effect is desired. It can also gradually increase pump speed to minimize stress on plumbing during startup.
